Accepting Offline Payments
Accepting offline payments is a great way to allow your customers to pay for your
services without
using a payment gateway. This can be useful for businesses that want to offer their
customers the
option to pay by cash, check, or bank transfer.
To accept offline payments, you will need to set up a manual payment gateway in your
Text Club
application. This will allow you to manually process payments from your customers
and keep track of
their payment history.
To set up a manual payment gateway, follow these steps:
- Login to the admin panel
- Navigate to
Settings
>Payment Gateways
- Select
Offline Payment
- Enter your payment details into the text box labeled
Payment Details
. What you enter into this box is an instruction to your customers on how to make payment to one of your bank accounts. Whatever you enter into this box will be shown to the customer once they hit the checkout page. -
Enter the confirmation message into the text box labeled
Confirmation Message
. What you enter into this box is typically instructions to your customers on how to notify you once they have completed their payment. This information could be an email address, a phone number, or a link to a form where they can submit their payment confirmation. - Click on the
Submit
button to save your changes.
Once you have set up your manual payment gateway, you can start accepting offline
payments from
your customers.
After you receive and confirm the payment, you can manually mark the invoice as paid in
your
Text Club
application.
